I’m working on a video conversion from an old Camcorder for a friend’s wedding and the pastor’s voice and others seem to sound somewhat robotic/feedback when he speaks. I’ve tried using De-Clicker and that doesn’t seem to help this case. Any other suggestions? New to using Audacity and have been trying to google/learn as much as possible to do this little project but can’t seem to get anything to actually help. This is a sentimental project and hoping I can figure something out. All help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
That kind of robotic or metallic sound is often caused by the original recording rather than clicks or pops, so De-Clicker usually won’t fix it.
You could try these steps in Audacity:

Use Noise Reduction on a short section of background noise first, but don’t overdo it.

Apply Filter Curve EQ to reduce harsh frequencies around 2–5 kHz if the voice sounds metallic.

Try Compressor to even out the voice levels.

If the recording is distorted or clipped, the Clip Fix effect may help a little.

If the audio was recorded in stereo, check whether one channel sounds better than the other. Sometimes using only the cleaner channel can make a noticeable difference.
If possible, upload a short 10–20 second sample of the problematic audio. Hearing the exact issue makes it much easier to recommend the right fix, since robotic sound can come from distortion, tape damage, compression artifacts, or microphone problems.
Here’s a 15 second snippet of it where the audio does that distortion. I believe you’re right, it’s from the recording aspect.
