Is there a Key Stroke to Enter a Selection Point?

I am running Audacity 3.7.0 on Windows 10.
These are my steps when adding bookmarks to a recording:

  1. I click on the Selection start time in the Selection toolbar with the cursor (mouse)
    AudacitySelectionStartPt
  2. enter the numbers of the start point (keyboard)
  3. then create the bookmark (keyboard) and name it.

For step 1 I would prefer to be able to use the keyboard to move to entering the first number of the selection start point where want the bookmark created.

Is there a keystroke already? If not can I create/assign one & how?

Apologies if my terminology is confusing. I am new to Audacity.

Use the ‘[’ key to set the start location, or the ‘]’ key to set the end of selection.
