Hi,
I am starting a channel on YouTube and looking into security.
I need to know if there is a way for YouTube stop Audacity from recording my video’s audio
I ask this as some of my videos will ave my own music on them so a little concerned about this. Even though my stuff is registered, has copyrights but is there a way to outright block a person from recording my video’s audio with say an Audacity What U Hear?
Maybe don’t upload the whole song on YouTube. Just enough of a sample in case someone wants to buy it? Or, you can upload a low-bitrate MP3.
It is “lower quality” because YouTube uses lossy compression even if you upload a lossless original. But the quality isn’t terrible and most people don’t care and the difference may not be audible.
“Worst case”, you upload a lossy file, YouTube converts it to their lossy format, and the person recording it, compresses it a 3rd time to MP3, and it’s got generations of lossy compression!
