After hitting the 39 minute I started to see the recording timeline go blank as it moved along. The recording continued flawlessly so this is more of a interface issue than a functionality issue
It may be the capacity of the tracks of the drive the data is being stored in. A lot of recording devices will close a file and create a new one every 3,911,681 KB to prevent creating a file too large for the media that contains it.
I should have mentioned that it was a 40 minute recording and the file size was approx 21MB.
The recording did not stop, but visually the interface did.
