I have a problem that I’m hoping someone can help me figure out. I recently upgraded to V 3.7.7 and that is partially where problems began. My MacBook Pro is a 2017, running Ventura 13.7.8. The other day I hoked up my typical system and had no input to my computer (registering on the Audacity) Here is how I have it hooked up: the output of my Mac, via headphone or adaptor from usb-c to 3.5 hrs) is sent to my Mackie mixer inputs. Signal is good so far. The output of the mixer goes to my Focusrite 6i6. Signal good so far. The output of the 6i6 goes back to the Mac via usb, adapted to usb-c so it can enter the Mac. when I hit the record button on in audacity, nothing. This happens in Audacity Audacity 3 Help Forum > Windows 3.7.7 and 3.0.0.0. This seems straight forward and use to work on older versions of Audacity. BTW - the current version looks terrible!
- You did probably not grant access to Microphone for Audacity (see system settings → privacy and security → microphone).
