Installing Noisegate.ny

I’m a total Newbe but am getting on well with Audacity using the many YouTube videos. I have downloaded plugin Noisegate.ny but how do I install it please?

Assuming that you are using Audacity 2.3.2 or later (the current version is Audacity 2.3.3, and is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/).

The Noisegate.ny effect is a “Nyquist Plug-in”. Installation instructions are here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_windows.html#nyquist_install
