Installing 3.6.2 on a Mac

I can’t install “Universal” installers on my older Mac. No trouble installing X86 versions. X86 worked with Audacity 3.6.0 and 3.6.1. Neither of those Universals worked.

Apparently only the Universal version of 3.6.2 is available.

I got it from upper left: Download without Muse Hub.

I install the application in Applications in good order. I pull the application down into the tool bar. Double click the application, it bounces seven times and gives me this display, which freezes.

Doesn’t matter whether or not I have the network connected. It needs something I don’t have.
