Hi everyone. First time with Audacity. Excited to get started but it’s a bumpy road. I have tried to record on my 2012 Macbook Pro (maxed to the max!). My waveform doesn’t look like waveforms are supposed to look. Sort of looks like an expanded form but it’s not. Also my output is really low. On my output device in studio I have to crank the output all the way up to get a “comfortable” sound when I imagine it should be blasting at max. And the people I was was talking to online could barely hear my voice. I’ll attach a copy of a sample waveform. Anyone have ideas? Is my macbook pro underpowered for running this?
