Install Failure "Procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located"

OS=Windows 7 32 bit

Audacity vr = 2.3.3

Install Failure - message says

Procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in dynamic
link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll

I do not know where to start. I am new to this software and forum

Any suggestion is welcome

You need to update Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio.
You can get the updated from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/download/details.aspx?id=48145
Your Windows 7 must have Service Pack 1 installed.

Please note that Windows 7 is now past it’s “End of Life”, and is no longer supported by Microsoft, thus no more security updates. It is highly recommended to upgrade to a currently maintained operating system. If you don’t want to buy Windows 10, you could consider installing Linux.
