increase export quality from 128kbps to 256kbps

ver 2.1.0 on Win10

Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to increase the export funtion from 128kbps to 256kbps?

I edit a high quality MP3 then export it and it exports to 128kbps. I’d like to increase the audio quality to what I imported which is usually higher than 128kbps.

File > Export Audio… > Format: MP3 Files, Options… > Quality: 256.

If you’re editing existing MP3 files, the sound damage is a combination of the input and output quality settings. If your shows don’t sound very good, it could be your compression damage is more like 64. 128 > 128. The only way you can make the sound damage the same value as the import is to export WAV or other uncompressed format.

Never do production in MP3.
