Hi
I import the first wav-file containing 6 tracks (5.1). When importing the second file I want it to show up after the first in the timeline. But it adds 6 more tracks, no I have 12 tracks starting at the same time.
How do I accomplish this?
Win11. Audacity 3.7.3.
I don’t have access to Audacity right now, so I have not tested this.
Sync-lock the first 6 tracks together, then sync-lock the remaining 6 tracks. Then use the Align Tracks, End-To-End in the Tracks menu.
That gave this interesting result. The tracks from the second file formed a stepped formation.
The tracks from the first file remained in position.
It looks like the first sync-lock group was selected when doing the Align Tracks End-To-End.
Group them again, then click Select, All and then try aligning end-to-end.
