Hello, i am trying to import a mka file consisting of 3 tracks, and it stays indefinitely with 1 second remaining and never actually finishes importing. Then i have to force end Audacity.
Have you installed FFmpeg? You’ll need it to decode whatever format is inside the MKA container.
You’re probably going to lose any MKA “features” (chapters, or whatever…).
If that doesn’t help you may need to look online for how to convert MKA to WAV. Then you can open the WAV file in Audacity for editing.

I may go instead with WAV. I guess that works better with Audacity.
