Importing audio clips to same track???

When I import an audio clip, it creates a track. Is it possible to import additional clips to the same track instead of creating a new track every time I import???

No. That’s Append/Import and that’s a very, very popular Feature Request.

Import all your sound on their own tracks and then select them all Edit > Select > All.
Then Tracks > Align Tracks > End-To-End.

They will play one after the other with no gaps and you can edit them that way, too. When you’re finished, Audacity Export will smash them all together into one show.
