Hi,i downloaded audacity but it doesn’t open.It says as follows

Please help so i cn apply what i learnt at school at it.thank you

Where is drive E:?
Audacity won’t run from an internet, cloud or network drives. It should be on your machine like C:\ or D:\
Sometimes schools or companies will not let you run software on your local drives.

Two is I learnt to use it but I gotta download it by my own

Is the problem on your own computer, or on a school computer?
im running windows 8.1
and the problem is on my PERSONAL computer

Try updating your computer’s C++ library by installing "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 " from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/download/details.aspx?id=48145 (installation instructions are provided on that page. You should reboot after the installation has completed).
I already recently downloaded it because of a .DLL problem in audacity,but I fixed it when I found a program which has dozens of .DLLs
But anyways I’ll try it
