I’ve been working with this macro and I noticed it works perfectly on short files (about a second or two) but on the longer files, it doesn’t work properly. It will change the tempo of the last section of a longer file several times and it will randomly lengthen sections in the middle. I would like to know if there is something I did wrong in my macro that is making it not work on longer files?

How would I fix it? I just updated Audacity and it’s still the same issue.
Unless you are a C++ developer, it’s unlikely that you can fix it. (If you are a C++ developer, and you can fix it, then please submit your fix to Audacity on GitHub).
You could write a new post to the “Feedback and Reviews” part of the forum and try to encourage the development team to fix this old bug, but very few of the development team visit the forum.
