Hi! I am working on an important project with a deadline. Is there a way to move a clip over from a split and not create a gap? I could have sworn that I was able to do that before to reveal and cut audio in a non destructive way. I have tried with and without tracks being synced and it has made no difference. When I select and delete in a “destructive” way without creating a split it drags audio, but for some reason if I drag by hand it does not automatically snap to the clip to the left if that makes sense. I’ve gone into preferences and “editing a clip can move other clips” is already checked.
I’ve tried opening and closing audacity and nothing changes. I’ve included screenshots for reference.
I just want to be able to drag clip beginnings and ends together seamlessly in a non destructive way to fine tune.
Any help is appreciated!!
