Let me say first, that I love Audacity and have been using it for years. In the version Audacity 3.7.1, I am getting a lot of freezing and messages stating the files did not save properly. When I try to send the error message to support, it is unable to do it. This version is very buggy.

I’m not able to help with those issues, but if you know which version of Audacity worked well for you previously, you can probably get it from Old Audacity versions download
FossHub was the official content distribution partner for Audacity for many years until Audacity was acquired by Muse Group, so they have virtually every version going back to 2.0.0.
Be aware that Audacity 2.x uses the old “AUP + _data folder” format, and cannot open Audacity 3.x “AUP3” projects.
I will trying going back to 3.6. I believe that worked ok. Thank you for your response. I use this for editing my podcast and these annoyances are slowing me down.
