I can't type anything into input fields, it gets set to 0

This doesn’t apply to every single input field but to a lot of them, for example the lowpass filter frequency.

Anything I type into the field just gets set to 0. When it’s 0 I can’t even type anything, I have to use the arrows. This makes Audacity 4.0 unusable for me. Both languages in the settings are set to English.

I joined the forum to report this issue.

  • Trying to filter sounds over 9K Hz. You can imagine that this might take a while, if holding down the arrow is the only option.
  • I didn’t check the other functions that have a numerical entry interface, because this is enough to report as a bug on its own.
