Mr. Trebor, Mr. Steve and the other leaders and masters of the Audacity Universe, I am at my wit’s end trying to accomplish an objective.
How could one programmatically select small noise spikes of say 2 milliseconds, peak of up to say -27 dB, the either sides (I mean the left and right side of each of the peak spike) being relatively silent at -50dB for a minimum of 5 milliseconds, from within audacity program operating on a mono audio track?
Then write the collected spikes as a result as a separate mono track within the same open window?
How to arrange the Nyquist code so that those noise spikes are also removed from the main track?
The code, full of immature, irrelevant and impossible code lines, just to express how I plan the objective, is attached.
