I recently bought a new headset as the mic in my old one broke, but along with the new headset came an issue where I can hear myself while recording in Audacity. Whatever I say, it repeats it straight into the headset while recording.
Is there any way to get rid of this or do I just have to get used to it?
Try turning off Transport > Software Playthrough in the Audacity menus.

I tried disabling that but I can still hear myself through the headset. Thanks for the help though!
Then right-click over the speaker icon by the Windows system clock and choose āRecording Devicesā. Right-click over the headset then choose āPropertiesā. Then click the āListenā tab. Make sure āListen to this deviceā is not enabled.

That is also disabled
Then look at any control panel the headset has, which may have some playthrough option.
I assume it is a USB headset but you have not given its make or model number, so we canāt help you search for a solution.

It actually was a problem with the headset, there was an option to remove the voice playback from the headset settings itself. But, thank you for the help!
