HUGE annoyments 2 fix : export folder destination

Hi everybody

There is a HUGE annoyment Audacity HAVE TO fix for the user’s comfort that is :
When exporting an audio, the app asks for a destination folder. SFSG (so far so good) BUT… locating the home folder of the actual audio file to be saved in is always a choir so… ADD a checkbox stating : “in same folder as current audio file” !!! PLEASE…

Next. in the Help menu, please add a link that directly opens this forum for “Help and requests”.

You should have a look at Audacity’s “Settings”. There, you can determine any folder as the standard folder for your files to open / save / import / export.

Your suggestion does NOT solve the issue : you suggest to set a fixed target location for the export audio file. My concern is for ANY target location for the export audio file…
