Sorry to piggy back onto this, but please someone tell me how to totally eliminate background hiss on audacity? I’m trying to make a podcast, and people really seem to turn off by even the slightest slightest background hiss. And I have no idea how to get rid of it I’ve been trying everything that I can think of.
Please don’t. Just start a new topic and give it a relevant title.
Use the “Noise Gate” effect. Noise Gate - Audacity Manual
“Gate frequencies above” must be set to 0.
“Level reduction” must be set to -100.
The other settings must suit the audio that you are processing.
Not knowing where to place a new topic, so please allow me to place here, until I am notified or given a link to where otherwise to post. My concern is, that I cannot get my links to appear on audio.com.
