How to separate multiple voices from a track

Hello Audacity Users,

tltr;
I am speaking here to discuss some problems I am having with video editing and needing know how I can equalize and balance vocals.

Backstory:
So, I was doing a gameplay video for my Youtube channel and recorded some gameplay using OBS and when done recording (About an hour) I was look through my footage and heard my friend’s voice is louder than mind–not sure if I was too far away from my mic or my settings was messed up but it is a bit annoying as it will seem like my friend is the protagonist in my video, which will confuse my audience, which I don’t want. So, I went to audacity to try to figure out how to fix the problem.

The problem
How can I fix this in Audacity as I tried every option I can find online and through ChatGPT. Nothing is helping me. I first tried looking for AI tools that can separate both of our voices onto two separate tracks and increase the volume of my voice and lowering the voice of my friend’s lightly but most tools you need to pay for the advance features like that and so on. Which I don’t want to do for the one time use as after this, I am doing lots of testing to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Extra Details
Here is the image of the track. I used the OpenVINO to try to separate some stuff, it only managed to separate our voices from the background, which did help bring a better image. Within the image, the highest wave is my friend’s while the lowest is my voice. Some breathing sounds from the character running in the game is also in there as well. My voice is around -35 db on the Logarithmic scale while my friend’s is close to 0 dbs.

Hopefully some experts here knows a trick to fix it as I have spent hours trying to fix it as I don’t want to lose the footage as there was lots of interesting moments that can engage my audience that most likely won’t happen again.

Thanks,
Jonathan X.
