Hi! I try to remove background noise from my recording in Audacity, but it’s not working right. I use the Noise Reduction effect, but after I apply it, the sound still have noise or it sound weird. Can someone explain me step by step how to make it better? I try many times but still not good. Please help, thank you!
There’s a reason pros still record with good equipment and careful microphone placement in soundproof studios. There’s only so-much that can be done, even with the best pro software.
Noise reduction works best when you have a tiny-constant background noise. It works best when you don’t really need it… If the noise is bad, sometimes, “The cure can be worse than the disease.”
With AI, the situation may get better.
