How to install VST plug-ins? [SOLVED]

I want to install GSnap plug-in. I pasted GSnap.so file to /usr/bin/plug-ins, then I pressed Edit → Preferences… → Effects, but I didn’t find “VST Effects” groupbox.
Audacity 2.0.5
The plug-in: http://www.gvst.co.uk/portpage.htm

Audacity 2.0.5 is obsolete now and does not support VST plugins on Linux.

If you need a Manual for that 2.0.5 version, please download https://storage.googleapis.com/google-code-archive-downloads/v2/code.google.com/audacity/audacity-manual-2.0.5.zip, then extract the “help” folder to /usr/share/audacity.

For VST support in Audacity, I suggest you uninstall the Mint-packaged version of Audacity 2.0.5 then install the Ubuntu Handbook 2.1.2 PPA version of Audacity from https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuhandbook1/+archive/ubuntu/audacity. Install the PPA version that corresponds to the version of Ubuntu that your version of Mint is based on - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Linux_Mint_releases.

If the 2.1.2 PPA lacks a Manual, you can obtain it from https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html/audacity-manual-2.1.2.zip.

Thank you! I installed Audacity 2.1.2, then I pressed Effect → Add / Remove plug-ins … and enabled GSnap. It works.

Are there any translations of manuals?

I am afraid not.
