Hello, I am a newbi with Audacity (lvl : 0 ), with my montage software, I tried to do it, but it was impossible, the sound was bad. So, they told me to trie with audacity.
But now, I have a little problem that I can’t seem to solve. There is a sentence in the audio that is pronounced normally, but I would like to be able to make the last vowel pronounced last a little longer like in pokemon with team rocket. I have been looking for a solution for a month without success.
the sentence that is prononce in the audio is “Allé on y va” (or come on let’s go), like that, nothing more, but I tried to make it like this “Allé, on y vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaé (Come let’s gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
If anyone has a video, or a recommendation as to how to do this, even a direction where to look, I would be infinitely grateful.
I’d agree with Trebor - Paulstretch will certainly help here. You may have to change the size of the selection (exactly which parts of the waveform are stretched) as the results are radically different. You could soften the metallic effect by applying another effect as well. A bit of reverb? I use Paulstretch quite a lot. Sometimes a well-timed sample (e.g. a hi-hat) on another track can hide the transition from the original sample to the Paulstretched version.
