How to eliminate background music from YouTube videos

I’m using Audacity 3.4.2 with Linux Mint. I download YouTube videos and extract the MP3 sound file using an app. Then I save them to my phone to listen to them in the car.

Many YouTube videos have music in the background which is annoying and sometimes so loud that I can barely hear the voice. Is there a feature of Audacity that will allow me to remove that background music but leave the voice?

Thanks in advance.

There was a native audacity plugin which could isolate the centre, but it’s been replaced by an AI plugin …

Thank you. I don’t understand the technical explanation in the wiki, but I used the tool with my MP3 files and I’ll test the result when I listen to them on Monday.
