I have the latest version of Audacity and I need to know how to set the Hz (hertz) to 44100 using the two buttons at the bottom left of the screen under tempo. The drop down button only allow you to change from Hz to Khz. When I type in the format it shows it as 4,4100:00 and I do not think that is correct.
Audacity > Preferences > Audio Settings > Quality.
Leave the Sample Format 32-Float. It messes up editing if you try to force it to 16 bit.

Tempo is the musical pace, normally beats-per-minute. A slow song has a low tempo and a faster song has a higher tempo.
