How to add 0.5 seconds silence at the end of the track in macro?

Hello All,

I’m trying to create a macro that adds 0.5 seconds of silence at the end of the track (mono).

The manual steps I take are as follows:

  1. Hit the END button to go to the end of the track.
  2. Press the left cursor one time to move one step left.
  3. Goto Generate Menu and click Silence.
  4. Enter/Change to 00:00:00.500 s

I tried to do the same in macro:

Selection_005
Selection_005614×349 17 KB

But I’m getting the error:
“Silence” requires one or more tracks to be selected.

I could not resolve this.

Can someone tell me how to do thisin macro?
