How do I split an audio track

I could do this in the old version, so I wish I hadn’t updated it.
but I’m just trying to split a piece of audio so I can move it without the rest of the mess.

You can reinstall the older version if you didn’t keep the installer.

Do you mean drag-select or set labels on a piece of sound and then File > Export > Export Selected doesn’t work? Or isn’t that how you were doing it?

We’re trying to imagine what you’re doing across multiple time zones, so the better you explain your problem, the better for us.
