How do I reopen an "automatically closed" topic

The topic is very fundamental for editing, mixing exploring. I want to highlight this again so Audacity team can address this or give me some pointers for how this may be done using custom scripts.

I do not know how to point to my original post. I just keep getting a message - Posts Cannot Be Empty.

I am requesting a way to Enable/Disable or Mute/Unmute a clip - while the clip remains intact.

Not Delete it. Not silence it. Not destroy it anyway.
