How do I remove this split channel track view whatever thing

I’m gonna look so stupid for this question but I am actually losing my mind

I have never had this problem in my life I was just editing on Audacity like anyone else does when all the tracks have suddenly decided to display like this?

Before, they would just display 1 combined waveform thingy but now it’s showing the left and right channels? It’s not like I split a mono track or anything they’re all stereo tracks, but now it’s displaying both channels in a single track? It’s really obtrusive and I’m really confused because I didn’t split anything or edit anything, it’s just the view has changed. I tried hitting undo but it didn’t do anything and restarting the program didn’t do anything either. I can’t find the option to change this back to normal anywhere. Sorry if the answer to this is something obvious but I have literally no idea what to do right now.

If the left & right tracks are perfectly identical, (i.e. dual-mono),
you can “split stereo to mono” and delete (x) one of them, (as it’s redundant).

The tracks aren’t identical, is there really no way to disable this? It’s really cluttering my workspace.
