How Do I Remove Glitch Noise From 8-Bit Retro Audio?

I’m trying to achieve a clean 8-bit retro audio effect without any glitch noise or distortion. I added another audio file that sounds clean only as a reference for the result I’m aiming for. However, when I apply the 8-bit effect, I start hearing unwanted glitchy noise. How can I get a clean 8-bit sound while avoiding extra noise?

I can’t upload both audio files here, so I added the samples to Drive.

bitcrush and decimation are similar effects. Decimation is not hissy like bitcrush
