How do I increase the vocal volume and decrease the piano in a recording?

I have a recording that I took of my son’s performance. I’d like to decrease the piano and increase the vocal volume. Is this possible in Audacity and if so, how do I do it? I am new to this process so would appreciate any assistance. Thankyou

I doubt you can get “professional results” but you can try OpenVINO or
Vocal Reduction and Isolation.

…Most studio recordings are multi-track recorded with every instrument and vocal on a separate track and the mixing engineer can adjust the individual levels during mixing. “Traditionally” you can’t “un-mix” but AI is getting smarter every day.

I second using OpenVino. I get some tracks recorded by a singer/guitar player on one mic and it is very simple to separate the tracks and adjust levels and apply eq, even fx. There are limits of course but I think it is remarkable!
