i am not sure if it’s possible to export to mp4.
I have ffmpeg for audacity but is there a way to export as mp4? like i take a jpg/png file then export it then it should turn to video. also gif.
MP4 files are capable of storing both audio and video data. You might need to convert from one to the other, and an MP3-to-MP4 converter can help. You can use an MP3-to-MP4 converter online if you want to convert a single file.
You aren’t actually trying to export a video file, right? Audacity is audio only.
For MP4 audio (aka M4A or AAC) you need to install FFmpeg if you haven’t already. You also need FFmpeg to open MP4 files.
If you are on Windows, download and run FFmpeg_5.0.0_for_Audacity_on_Windows_x86_64.exe to install it and you should be good to go.
When you export, select M4A (AAC) Files (FFmpeg).
