How can I record electric drums using MIDI?

Hi I have an Alesis prime electric drum kit. How do I use Audacity to record them?. The module uses MIDI.

Audacity can’t record MIDI. If your drum kit is generating audio (for headphones, etc.) you can record it if your computer has a regular soundcard with line-in, or if you have a USB audio interface with line-in.

Or you can record whatever sounds your soundcard is making.
