I am trying to record my mixes from a Behringer mixer. I am using a Behringer codec. I record on to my PC with no problem. But on my Acer Swift laptop the recording is unplayable. Checked that all access to mic and audacity app are ok. Using windows 10 on both. Don’t feel like I am doing anything different but it’s just not happening on the laptop. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Andystruds.
Check the quality setting in advanced proprieties of the Behringer USB input device.
and/or turn off any Windows “audio enhancements”,
e.g. recording enhancements like noise/echo reduction.
