hi, I trying to transfer some original mater tape reels recorded at 15ips,but no matter what I do with the line levels off my B77, there is alot of hiss. There is no audible hiss on the tapes themselves, so how can I eliminate it with out loosing sound quality. I want them recorded as .WAV 24 bit but it’s getting very frustrating, cheers for any help you can give

It would be useful to know what a B77 is and how things are connected up to help build a mental picture of your setup.

So its a reel to reel 15ips and the tapes i want to transfer are the original master tapes, thanks
