Help with recovering file that won't open

Hi! I have two files that simply will not open. I keep getting the dreaded “failed to read from a file in c” message. I found the github recovery instructions but I don’t understand how execute #4: “Copy your defective .aup3 project, then move the copy to this same AudRepair directory, and rename it to “broken.aup3.”

Can anyone tell me HOW to do this?

Just to be clear, are you asking how to copy and rename a file?
