Helix Native Can Not Change Presets

I’m new here.
I purchased the Helix Native recently and when I use it as a plugin for Audacity, it won’t let me change to any of the other presets and setlists.
It gives me a Helix Native error message “Failed to load preset. General or unknown error. [code -1]”

I’m running 3.3.3.x64 Audacity, Helix Native v3.61 on Windows 11.
I didn’t have this probelem on my trail version of Cubase Elements 12, but I really don’t want to pay for it.
Anything will help.

Not all plug-ins support Audacity. You might check with their support or if they have a forum. It’s up to the plug-in developer (not the host developer).

Most commercial plug-ins have a list of supported hosts but I didn’t see that for Helix.

Sometimes they will work even though they aren’t officially supported, or some features may not work, etc. (Audacity is rarely officially supported.)

With free plug-ins it’s usually hit-or-miss.
