I’m joining the ranks of wannabe Audiobook narrators and, surprise surprise, I’m struggling to meet the ACX requirements. There are loads of tutorial videos around that go through using the Loudness Normalizer and Limiter to meet the RMS requirements and not exceed the -3.0dB peak. So far so good. The problem is, in all the videos when they open the Limiter effect the options available look nothing like the Limiter in the latest Audacity (3.7.3). I’ve tried messing around with it a bit but I can’t seem to figure out how to combine the two effects to meet the requirements… Any help greatly appreciated!
koz adapted his Audiobook Mastering Macro for the new limiter.
Or, thankfully they brought-back the old limiter as Effects → Legacy → Legacy Limiter.
