I tried to add GSnap on my audacity. I tried everything including using Gsnap.dll and also vat-bridge.dll.
I am using audacity 2.1.0.
Please advise if there is anything I can do to get GSnap.
- Uninstall vst-bridge. That was only for very old (long time obsolete) versions of Audacity.
- Ensure that you use the 32-bit version of GSnap. http://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm
I presume that you are using some version of Windows, so I’ve moved this topic to the Windows forum. For future reference, please see the information in the pink box near the top of the page.
Thank you for your suggestions. However, I am still unable to get GSnap on my audacity despite uninstalling vst-bridge and using 32-bit version GSnap,
As for my operating system, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. The audacity version is 2.1.1 as stated earlier. I obtained it using the.exe installer. Please note I couldn’t get GSnap even with the audacity version 2.1.0. I upgraded the audacity only yesterday on 20 July 2015 hoping that it might help me out to get GSnap.
I hope to get your further advice soon.
By the way, is there any other auto-tune that is compatible to audacity?
You will need to use the GSnap (for 32-bit VST hosts), as Steve said. In Audacity 2.1.1, use Effect > Manage…, select GSnap, click “Enable” then OK. GSnap does work in Audacity on Windows 7, except for the MIDI features.

Thanks a lot. Finally, it worked out.
