This only happens at the beginning of a new track. The cursor lands anywhere from.2 to .5 seconds from the start of the track. It’s quite annoying!! This becomes an issue especially when there is a click track at the beginning. The first click is not heard if you click Record again. If you start recording on another track later in the project, it returns to the starting point just fine after clicking “Undo record” in the Edit menu.
It doesn’t happen all the time but it does most of the time so I’ve had to get in the habit of clicking the Click to Home button to make sure I’m staring at the beginning of the track. But that becomes a problem if you go on autopilot and click Home when you shouldn’t!!! 
Is this a glitch that should be fixed? It’s been happening for quite some time now. I just got the chance to post about it.
