fuzzy/electronic voice

I made a recording of a sermon via a radio lapel mic and a mixing desk with an output into a computer running audacity.

Problem is the vocals have a weird electronic effect to them which I can’t figure out how to remove/clean it up

Is there anything that can be done or am I stuck with it?

Windows 10 Pro 1809
Audacity 2.2.2

You’re stuck with it.

I’m much more interested in how you got there. Is the house listening to the mixer or are you completely divorced from the performance? Does it sound OK there? Were you listening on headphones?

What’s the connection between the mixer and the computer?

Some part of the system is trying to “clean up” echoes or background noise, and the noise is really bad.

Do you have years of experience with the microphone? I’ve never heard of a wireless system with auto corrections, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

When you post back, Model Numbers are good. I’m using a doobly-doo microphone with a Shure M126 sound mixer, etc. First time with all this equipment?
