HP EliteDesk, 64 bit i7 core 64 GB ram. Just got this revervished PC. New download of Audacity will not launch. Shows error screen. I tried Audacity 4. It opens OK, but there is nothing available under tools. There is also no plugin manager lit. .
Did you download version 3.7.7 from here? I recommend downloading without Muse Hub if you are having trouble and/or if you don’t want the extra stuff.

Audacity 4 isn’t ready for prime time yet. 
It’s just for experimenting and testing.

I tried the “here” link you provided and I still get an error screen, with the code 0xc0000005.
