Bug Report – Multiple Export in FLAC Format

Affected Versions: From Audacity 3.3.4 onwards (including the current version 3.7.7)
Version confirmed without “error”: Audacity 3.3.3(The metadata is exported correctly in each file, but it is not preloaded automatically)
Operating System: (Windows 11 22H2,compilation SO 26200.7623 )

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a project with multiple tracks.

  2. Select the option to export multiple files in FLAC format.

  3. Attempt to preload or preserve metadata for each exported file.

Expected Result

Each exported file should retain the previously entered metadata, or allow the same metadata to be applied to all files during batch export.

Actual Result

  • Metadata is not preloaded, causing loss of information.

  • When entering metadata manually, Audacity only allows it for the first file.

  • The remaining files are exported with default metadata only.

Impact

This issue prevents consistent metadata management when exporting multiple files in FLAC format, affecting the organization and cataloging of audio projects.
