Filter Curve 100 hz rumble fix

That’s what I meant by “studio.” Just something that is soundproofed to the best standard I can get. Certainly better than a hotel room over a very popular restaurant.

You misunderstood. The clip I sent was the very first thing I recorded on Audacity seven years ago. Yep. Yer right. That is my machine, and lack of knowledge in using the mic settings and wotnot. My recordings are much better now. I would like to salvage something from my early sessions, if possible. But I got just the results that you said I would get - muffled sounds. At least I know that I did my best at trying to correct that clip. I just wanted a second opinion.

I’m not using my internal mic any more. I went on to use a Meteor USB mic. Very good signal compared to my previous set up. That clips often though. Now I use a Tascam DR40 Linear PCM. I still have to buy an external mic. I’m not too embarrassed by my equipment and lack of knowledge.

Your recording sounds fine to me. The principal voice is clear and distinct. The environmental noise tells me that your in a restaurant. It’s great. I don’t think you should remove any of that noise. This is 2020. It’s not the 20th Century anymore. It sound like what it is - guys sitting around, shooting the shit in a restaurant.

You know what i don’t like? Every artist sounds like they exist in a vacuum.

I just wanted a second opinion.

I think you got it as good as you can get.

I’m getting really good information here. It’s a matter of keeping up with all of it.
