I am unable to export files, I get “unable to create destination folder.” I installed the FFmpeg following the instructions, still the same.
I think ffmpeg should not make any difference in this case. Where do you want to export to - your internal drive or an external one? And at what location on that drive?
You can try to create a folder at the desired location first (using the finder’s “New folder” command) and then select this as your desination. Does this work?
That’s a little too fuzzy.
What’s the show? Why are you doing this? Where are you trying to put the files? Can you export to the desktop?

Original report from https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/bug-or-error-when-trying-to-make-new-folder-when-exporting-audio/92959/
The workaround here is to use the browse dialog instead to create the folders.
It’ll be fixed in Audacity 3.5.
