FFMpeg ??

Can only upload MP3 audio, to upload others, I have to do the ffmpeg thing and I don’t know anyone who works at NASA who’ll help me with the instructions on how to do it
When I click libaries, it shows as having the avformat-55.dll ???

That sounds like you already have FFmpeg installed.
Let’s check that.

  1. If Audacity is running, exit Audacity.
  2. Launch Audacity.
  3. “Help menu >Diagnostics > Show Log”.
  4. Either save the log and attach it to your reply, or just copy the contents and paste into your reply.

OK, thanks. You do not have a compatible version of FFmpeg installed.

Let’s install it.
(The full instructions are here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_ffmpeg_for_windows.html but I’ll go through the salient points one post at a time.)

First is to download the correct file.

  1. Go to this page: https://lame.buanzo.org/#lamewindl
  2. Look for the text link: ffmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe
  3. Click with the Left mouse button on that text link to start the download.
  4. When the download is complete, ensure that the name of the downloaded file is: ffmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe

Write back when you have that file.

All sorted and done, I can now upload the intented audio. Thanks for your help.

Super.
Out of interest, could you tell us what the initial problem was?

I think like you said it must have been an incompatible version of FFmpeg installed. I could load mp3 audio so your guess is as good as mine.

If you’re a long time user of Audacity, you may well have had an older version of FFmpeg that is not compatible with current versions of Audacity.
