Dear Audacity Development Team,
I would like to request an enhancement regarding the file dialog behavior on Windows. Currently, Audacity appears to use the classic file open/save dialog, which lacks features such as the address bar, quick access panel, and file path input.
It would be greatly appreciated if Audacity could adopt the modern Windows file dialog (Common Item Dialog), which provides a more consistent and efficient user experience—especially when navigating deep folder structures or entering file paths directly.
